The Pre-British ExplorersOf Australia

By Luke Bonavia

Introduction

Dutch, French and British Explorers have been discovering pieces of Australia since the 16th century until the first fleet arrived in 1788. If it wasn't for the great explorers such as Abel Tasman and  Capt. James Cook, Australia would not exist on the world map. This web page focuses on the great achievements of the Australian explorers and their problems during the journey.
